Highbank Stud has already acheived some exceptional results in the sales ring during their short time in the industry. We are responsible for breeding the top filly at the 2014 Craven Breeze up Sale - an Invincible Spirit filly that fetched 450,000 gns to David Redvers Bloodstock.
Other notable successes include God Willing, sold at the 2013 Craven Breeze Up sale in the top ten lots for 210,000 gns. He won a strong maiden first time out for Ed Dunlop and was showing signs of coming back to his best at the end of his 3 year old campaign.
Bremner, by Manduro out of our resident mare Maggie Lou (Red Ransom), accounted for the top lot at the 2013 autumn horses in training sale, fetching 280,000gns to SackvilleDonald after 2 impressive victories in his juvenile year.

Two Dubawi's sold at the 2012 Tattersalls Yearling Sale fetched 320,000 gns and 100,000gns respectively after commanding a stud fee of £30,000. Mythical Madness (Dubawi x Miss Delila) is in training with Charlie Appleby and is steadily progressing ahead of his 4 year old campaign.
In 2015 Highbank bred Ashadihan finished second in the Group 3 Albany Stakes after winning impressively on her debut. After a disappointing end to her two year old campaign when last of the 9 runners in the Group 2 Lowther Stakes at York, Ashadihan returned to action with an extremely impressive victory in the Group 3 Chartwell Fillies Stakes at Lingfield. Having her first run since a near 9 month break and encountering issues throughout the race such as a dislike of the surface and swinging the home bend 5 or 6 wide, Ashadihan's cosy length victory marked her as a serious filly to follow in 2016. At the time of writing she is entered in the Irish 1,000 guineas and Highbank wish her connections the best of luck.
Ashadihan's sensational victory was preceded by another exceptional breeze up result for Highbank when the Invincible Spirit x Loch Jipp colt passed through the ring as top lot for 360,000 gns. Consigned by Mark Dwyer's Oaks Farm Stable, the colt impressed some big hitters during his breeze and the hammer eventually fell to Jamie McCalmont on behalf of Coolmore. The colt has been named Eaton Square and is believed to be in training with John Gosden at the time of writing.
This colt marks the second huge price achevied by listed winning two year old Loch Jipp at the craven breeze up, and as a result her aggregate sales for her two lots through the ring stand at 810,000 gns.
At the 2016 Tattersalls October Yearling sale, Highbank were also responsible for a beautiful filly out of Miss Delila by Invincible Spirit who sold for 280,000 gns to Blandford Bloodstock. A half-sister to the Group 3 winning 3 year old and Group placed two year old Ashadihan, the filly had the page to back up her exceptional physical presence. She was a standout throughout her upbringing and in her preparation, and we are sure that she will go on to great success for her new owners.
